Founded in 1978 by three partners as a sub-contracting workshop processing sheet-metal, 1982 the company launched its first cash counter line, followed by the introduction 1987 of the MEGA model, a milestone in the evolutionary history of cash counter furniture. Today the company stands out not only for its production of check-outs counter furniture but also for the manufacture of general information counters, shelving systems and special commercial furhnishings. The company boasts ISO 9001 certification and latest-generation plant and production lines. S.C.S. has its own R&D Laboratory that, in cooperation with leading institutes and universities in the country, tests materials and shapes seeking elegant yet efficient and ergonomic solutions. Service to the customer is the key factor that characterises the company operations: the technical office and its highly qualified personnel are capable of customisation and innovative and effective design consulting. Recently, S.C.S. became a part of the GRUPPO GIBAM and its major experience going back forty years in the production of commercial furnishings with installations all over the world. The Group is a solid reality, with more than 300 employees and a turnover of over 60 million Euro. |
